The Olah Family

Gedeon Olah, missionary pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church, and his family moved with great joy to Nagykanizsa in July 2008 to share the good news of the Gospel with the people and to build a spiritual “Lighthouse” in this spiritually dark city.  He is married to Yolanda and has four children - Ramóna, Dávid, Péter, and Hanna.

Gedeon Olah - My Personal Testimony

I grew up in a Baptist family. When I was fourteen, I made a decision and was baptized, but my life hardly changed.

Before long, I began living just like other unbelieving teenagers. The only difference was that I attended church.  When I was eighteen, I met a girl at a church camp, and because of her I tried to live better.

Yoli Olah - My Personal Testimony

I grew up in a Christian family and from the time I was a little girl, I attended church faithfully with my parents.  At the age of twelve, I realized that it is not enough to have Christian parents and to be a good person.  I understood that everyone must give an account of himself one day to God.  I received Jesus as my personal Savior.  I asked him to forgive me of my sins and to come into my heart.
