I grew up in a Christian family and from the time I was a little girl, I attended church faithfully with my parents.  At the age of twelve, I realized that it is not enough to have Christian parents and to be a good person.  I understood that everyone must give an account of himself one day to God.  I received Jesus as my personal Savior.  I asked him to forgive me of my sins and to come into my heart.  I understood that heaven cannot be earned or merited by good works, but rather I simply have to place my faith on what Christ has already done for me at Calvary.  Because Christ gave me eternal life, I know that no matter what happens to me, I am headed for heaven.  This fact that is based on Christ's promises.  I can confidently say as a mother of four children with a loving husband that my decision has completed changed my life.  God's love is real and faithful in every life situation, and it is an unfailing help everyday.
